The term "vegan cosmetics" refers to products that do not include any ingredients derived from animal substances. Our products that are not vegan, include ingredients like beeswax and propolis since they are commonly known to have beneficial properties for the skin. Nonetheless, we are proud to say that the majority of products we offer are in fact vegan. These products are always labeled as such and can be browsed exclusively down below or when using the respective filtering options.
To protect our environment, resources are used as sustainably and carefully as possible. Raw materials are obtained from selected suppliers who adhere to strict guidelines regarding sustainability in extraction and processing. Returns are handled in a resource-saving manner. Continuous optimization of logistics and transportation contribute to a steady reduction of CO² emissions.
Of course, all products have always been and will always be FREE OF ANIMAL TESTING. In 2013 animal testing was generally prohibited throughout the EU and applies to the product itself as well as the raw materials contained.
Vegan cosmetics refers to products that do not contain any ingredients that are produced by or from animal substances.
By the way, this is not a protected term, which means that it may always be used if no animal ingredients are contained or have been used.
At asambeauty, we rely on a vegan formulation for the majority of our products.
Vegan cosmetics and natural cosmetics are often equated, but the two terms are not protected and can, but do not have to include each other. This means that vegan cosmetics can be natural cosmetics, but it does not have to be.
Our products are not exclusively made of natural ingredients, because we rely on the unique interplay of selected plant-based and state-of-the-art high-tech active ingredients. We follow this hybrid cosmetics approach every day in our in-house research and development laboratory.
