The AQUA INTENSE® hyaluronic acid complex includes a long-chain and a short-chain form of hyaluronic acid, as well as encapsulated hyaluronic acid and aescin (horse chestnut extract).
This unique technology allows hyaluronan to be transported deeper into the skin than usual.
The active ingredient aescin also inhibits the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, so that an optimal effect can be achieved. Our AQUA INTENSE® hyaluronic acid complex has already been granted a patent.
Long-chain hyaluronic acid is able to bond with the keratin molecules of the horny layer via hydrogen bonds. When evaporating, a tightening effect is created and small wrinkles appear immediately softened. Due to the particularly high water-binding capacity of hyaluronic acid, fine lines and wrinkles are visually cushioned.
Short-chain hyaluronic acid can penetrate into the deep epidermal layers of the skin and act where deeper wrinkles appear. It delivers and binds moisture, providing an additional "plumping" effect from within.
